Welcome to the second edition of Vision Homes’ News, our monthly newsletter.
Since the strategic partnership between Vision Homes (VHA) and New Outlook Housing (NOHA) became official on the 1st of January 2023, we have been looking at governance structures across the group and how to bring the Head Office staff from NOHA and VHA together effectively. These staff have been consulted about their preferences in terms of office space and we are looking at several options. Watch this space for further updates.
Changes to VHA’s Board of Trustees
Please welcome Zoe Richardson as the new Chair of the VHA Board! Zoe was one of our existing Trustees who joined our Board in April 2022 and is the Director of Operations/Deputy Chief Executive at the Sir Josiah Mason Trust. Zoe has a wealth of experience gained from working in the charity sector and social care. Matthew Spencer, our former Chair, remains as the Chair of NOHA’s Board and the two Chairs will meet frequently to ensure they stay in alignment. We thank Matthew for all his input and hard work as our former Chair. I look forward to seeing the collaboration and sharing of information across the two Boards.
New VHA Logo and Website
Our new logo and website site will be modern, meet accessibility requirements, and help drive traffic to our social media platforms. This is part of a larger piece of work to raise our profile as an organisation and improve our marketing. Chris Elliot, the web designer for NOHA has created some draft logo designs, and we’d like your input to pick the best version! There are four designs to choose from.
To vote for your favourite logo, please choose one from the images and complete the survey via the link by 10/03/2023:
Alternatively, if you are unable to access the form, please email your response to
helen.richards@visionhomes.org.uk by 10/03/2023. We look forward to announcing the winner of the vote. The chosen logo will be used on our new website, on social media, and on VHA documents. The logo’s can also be seen and voted for on our social media pages.
The People we Support -Activities
Since the start of this year, the people we support have completed a range of trips and
activities. These included visiting the local police force and fire service, taking part in craft activities, and musical bingo! Smiles and thumbs up around, it looks like they had a great time!
Building Refurbishments
In the last issue of Vision Homes News, we mentioned that our residential care home in Ludlow is getting a facelift. We are pleased to announce that works at 1a Toll Gate Road have now been completed, and the people we support have access to a refurbished kitchen and bathroom space that is modern, spacious and rather nice looking, if we do say so ourselves!
