The Management Team

Alison Beachim

Group Chief Executive Officer

Alison joined Vision Homes in December 2021. She previously worked in Banking as a Bank Manager and Financial Advisor, before moving into the Charity Sector where she worked as a CEO for the past 13 years. She has a wealth of experience leading service led organisations, who support people with complex needs.  Alison has an MBA in Executive Leadership and Management, Chartered Management Status awarded by the CMI, a L7 in Strategic Management, and a distinction in Coaching skills.   

Jonathan Monk

Group Director of Quality and Care

Jonathan joined New Outlook and Vision Homes in October 2023.  He is the Group Director of Quality and Care and also the Nominated Individual for services regulated by CQC.  He is a registered social worker and has worked with people with disabilities for over 25 years.  He previously worked as a commissioner with a local authority and was also Director of Operations with a national charity working with people with sensory impairment and complex disabilities.   His role is to ensure that our services run effectively and provide the highest quality of care and support.  He is committed to ensure that our services offer choice, control and independence to the people we support so that they can achieve their goals, aspirations and outcomes.

Stan Stevens

Group Director of People

Stan joined New Outlook in 2015 and has over 30 years’ experience as a HR professional having held senior positions within Central Government and the Charity sector. As a Chartered Member of the CIPD, he continues to invest in broadening and updating his HR knowledge and professional standing. Stan has helped shape and drive our Group people strategy, mainly focusing on delivering a motivational workplace culture, where staff feel valued and engaged. He is a keen advocate of productive employee relations and has a wealth of experience in coaching and mentoring managers at all levels.

Asif Hussain

Group Director of Finance

Asif joined the organisation in May 2025. He is an accomplished Finance Director with a proven track record in the Housing and Care sector and working to embed a culture of continuous improvement. He has a wealth of experience gained in over 20 years from the charitable sector, accountancy practice, private sector commerce, multinational enterprise and business ownership. Asif is very excited at the prospect of working with everyone at New Outlook and Vision Homes and is committed to fostering financial integrity and enhancing business performance through strategic financial leadership.

Helen Betts-Patel

Group Executive Assistant

Helen joined Vision Homes in December 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from the education and charity sectors. With expertise in governance, complaints management, business development, event management, and project management, Helen plays a pivotal role in supporting Vision Homes’ strategic goals.

Caroline Kenny 

Personnel Manager

Prior to Vision Homes, Caroline worked in the banking industry as an Administrator and Investment Supervisor. She moved into the Charity Sector in 2004 as an Administrator, before joining Vision Homes in 2008.  

Mel Townsend

Head of Supported Living Services

Mel has dedicated an incredible 27 years to Vision Homes Association, starting her journey in December 1997 as a full-time support worker in domiciliary services. Initially intending to pursue a career in counselling or as a paramedic, Mel quickly discovered that her role at Vision Homes offered the fulfilment and diversity she was seeking.

Over the years, Mel has taken on increasing responsibilities, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to empowering others and upholding the highest standards of care. She was promoted to Senior Support Worker and then Manager around 2009. In 2013, Mel became the Registered Manager, overseeing services across Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Telford & Wrekin. Her leadership and vision played a pivotal role in the transition of these services to Supported Living in 2011.

In 2023, Mel was appointed as Head of Supported Living Services, a role in which she continues to lead with integrity, passion, and a deep commitment to fostering independence and dignity for those in her care. Her extensive experience and hands-on approach make her an invaluable member of the Vision Homes team.

Outside of work, Mel enjoys expressing her creativity through painting, unwinding with movies, and staying active with yoga. She loves exploring the world in her camper van, cherishing time spent with her family and attending live music events.

Wendy Morse

Head of Residential Services

Wendy is a longstanding member of the Vision Homes staff team, she started working with us as a Waking Night Support Worker in 1991.  She successfully rose through the ranks and held various roles until she joined the Management Team in 2004. 

Our Trustees

Zoe Richardson 

Zoe is our Chair of the Board

Zoe Richardson joined the Board in March 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the charity and social care sectors. She previously served as an excellent Chair of Vision Homes for two years and has worked in health and social care for over 20 years. Zoe is a respected senior leader in the charity sector.

Julie Goddard

Julie is our Vice Chair of the Board

Julie joined as a trustee in February 2025. With a background in leadership psychology and behavioural science, Julie supports leaders to build strong, trust-based teams—particularly in complex, high-stakes environments. She is a committed champion of person-directed care and brings a thoughtful, values-led approach to governance, shaped by years of experience across the care and education sectors.

Virginia von Malachowski

Virginia is Chair of the Operations Committee

Virginia joined Vision Homes as a Trustee in December 2022 and became Chair in March 2024. Virginia has many years of experience in the charity sector and is also a Trustee at the Stafford-Upon-Avon and District Samaritans.

Steve Eccleston

Steve is Chair of the Finance Audit and Development Committee (FADC)

Steve was most recently the Group Development Director at Busy Bees Group, an international early years care provider, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and growth strategy. Prior to this, he held several senior positions at the TUI Group and Evans Halshaw and is an accountant by training.

During his 18 years at Busy Bees, Steve played a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s expansion through a combination of M&A and new centre developments. As a key member of the Executive Team, he helped transform the company from a UK-only provider with 35 centres and a £20 million turnover into a truly international business. Today, Busy Bees operates in ten countries with 1,000 centres and an annual turnover exceeding £1 billion.

Malcolm Campbell

Malcolm sits on the Operations Committee and is our Safeguarding Lead

Malcolm has a proven track record in operational and strategic management, with key strengths in team leadership, culture change, and business development. His wealth of knowledge and leadership experience are invaluable in supporting our mission and driving positive change.

Tom Jackson

Tom sits on the Finance, Audit and Development Committee

Tom became a trustee in September 2025. An experienced leader, Tom is currently Director of Operations at YMCA Heart of England, a chartered member of the CIH and has over 16 years’ experience in the social housing sector with extensive knowledge on legislation and regulation with a passion for leadership, customer service, service improvement, innovation, social value and strategy. He also has an academic background in planning and development.

Alison Parsons

Alison sits on the Operations Committee and is our Complaints Lead

Alison became a trustee in March 2024. A manager for over 30 years, she has held various roles in the voluntary sector and Local Government, including Housing and Social Care. Specialising in service development and delivery, she is passionate about providing quality provision.

Ben Williams.

Ben sits on the Finance, Audit and Development Committee

Ben Williams joined as a trustee in and sits on the Finance board. Ben works as an operations manager for Zebra technologies, a technology company. Specialising in process improvement, cost efficiency and innovation. With a background in advisory consulting and technology.

Sadiq Folorunsho

Sadiq joined us as a trainee trustee in January 2025. He is a results-driven professional with extensive experience across the Banking, Education, FMCG, and Health & Social Care sectors. Sadiq specialises in building employee-centric cultures that enhance productivity, boost morale, and reduce operational risk.

With a proven track record in risk management, employee engagement, and leadership development, Sadiq currently works as a Team Leader at CareTech Community Service Limited. He is passionate about fostering inclusive work environments, driving continuous improvement, and aligning organisational goals with innovative, people-focused strategies.
