Volunteering

Volunteering with VHA

Ever thought about volunteering?  VHA requires volunteers to help us make a difference to the lives of those we support.  How much time you can spare is entirely up to you and we’ve set out some ideas below to inspire you.  But whether you  can spare a few hours each  week or would simply like to take part in a one-off fundraising event we’d like to hear from you.

Driving

Could you help us transport an individual and their Support Worker to activities/events in the local community?  Although some of the people we support have their own mobility vehicles ensuring everyone can reach their desired activities or appointments can be difficult.  If you can help we’d love to hear from you.

Gardening

Do you have green fingers, or is your group looking to help within the community? Could you offer some time to  help us to keep our garden areas tidy or give a little more support to those individuals who like to tend to their gardens, growing flowers, vegetables and herbs?  Any help you can offer would always be appreciated.  contact us to find out more.

Donation Boxes

Do you have a customer facing business? Would you be happy to have a Vision Homes collection box on your counter?  We are currently developing a list of venues throughout the West Midlands where we can collect donations from the public.   Please contact us if you’d be happy to partner with us to help us raise much needed funds.

Fundraising

Do you like raising money for good causes?  Could you help us?  Whether you like running marathons, walking long distances, holding bake sales or maybe even making items for sale to raise charitable funds we’d like to talk to you.  There are many ways to get involved and every penny raised could make a huge difference to someone’s day.  Please contact us to discuss your ideas and find out more about how you can help.

If you think that you could spare us some of your time and would like to know more, please call 0121 434 4644 or email us.
