The Studio is a great place for the children to enjoy some creative fun. We offer a weekly Messy Fingers Group aimed at 1-5’s and a fortnightly group for home educated children. We also run activities for children during the school holidays, which are listed below. We know that sometimes coming into a new environment can be daunting for children and all our staff, as well as being DBS checked, are experienced in handling situations of all kinds, whilst ensuring that all the children get the very best from their time with us.
Messy Fingers (Ages 1-5)

Love to get creative with the children but can’t stand the mess? Bring the children to us every Thursday and let them get as creative as possible. Every week we’ll look at a new activity that everyone can get involved in, with finger painting, model making and lots of glitter and glue your little ones are sure to have a fantastic time, without you having to clear away. Do your children learn from home? Bring them to Loudwater for some creative inspiration. Very much a free-flow group, the children can get creative in as many ways as possible. whether you have an art project you need to complete or simply want to have some creative fun we have the space and loads of activities to choose from, we even have our own kiln so pottery is always a favourite, the possibilities are endless. Types of activity include:

Creative Writing Workshop – Write your own Book

Join us for a morning of fun with Liz Hyder combining creative writing with craft to create something unique to you. Using the starting phrase ‘Once Upon a Time – A Long Time Ago’ you’ll create your very own book . All you need to bring is yourself and your imagination for some fantastic creative fun. create! Whether you choose to make a key chain or your own Minecraft figures for your room there’s lots of fun to be had, all you need is your imagination.
The bugs that line in your garden need help! Get creative and create your very own hotel for them to live in. With sticks, moss, pine-cones and all sorts of natural ingredients to choose from each hotel is sure to be a unique and amazing addition to your garden.
Been to the sea this summer? Why not take some of it home with you by creating a picture out of pebbles. Using just a few pebbles can make some amazing results! All you need is your imagination and we’ll guide you all the way to making a fantastic picture to take home.
Ever wondered what a dragon egg would look like? Come and get creative and make your own. Using air drying clay, beads, sequins and lots of imagination we’ll support you to create your own truly unique egg to take home (let’s just hope a dragon doesn’t decided to move in!)
