This is our current programme of workshops for 2017, but please check regularly as new workshops are being added all the time. All workshops include materials and are aimed at those with little or no experience of the workshop offered, and are delivered by people with many years experience of delivering the activity.  Places are always limited however so please book early via paypal to avoid disappointment.  If you would rather pay in cash on the day please call us to reserve your place on 01584 877272, we may take a small deposit to secure your place.

Needle-felting Workshop
Friday, 23 June 2017 10.30am – 3.30pm
£45.00 per person (including all materials)

Join textile artist Maxine Smith for a one day creative workshop. Using a barbed needle to fuse different fibres together you’ll learn how to use needle-felting and hand embroidery to create a stunning and one-off piece of artwork. Needle-felting produces a tactile, textured surface on which to stitch and bead. An easy to learn craft for any experience level.No experience is necessary as Maxine will guide us all the way so you can take home a piece of work to be proud of.

All materials are included and the workshop includes light refreshments, but we would ask that you bring your own lunch with you on the day. Booking is essential as places are limited so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Book with a friend and save £5 each.

Beginner’s Knitting
Friday, 14 July 10am – 12 midday
£15.00 per person (including all materials)

Love the look of hand-knitted items and beauiful wools but have no idea how to get started, or can you knit a few stitches but can’t cast on or off? Then this workshop is just for you!

Join us and we’ll get knitting some samplers, showing you how to cast on,;a few of the basic stitches to get you started; and finally how to cast off. It’s all very relaxed, no experience is necessary and before you know it you’ll be knitting all your own jumpers.

All the materials you will need are included, so tell your friends and come and join us, let’s see what we can make together.


Fun with Pom-Poms

Come and join us for an afternoon of fun seeing just what we can create with pom-poms.  A great opportunity for Mums and Dads to have creative fun with the children during the holidays; with bunting, animal creations, jewellery and delightful decorations for your home you’ll be surprised by just what we can achieve.  All materials included but bookings are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment (please note children must be accompanied)



Button and Bead Creations

Just what could you create with buttons and beads? How about having a go at creating some amazing pictures.  Whether its butterflies, birds, or some beautiful flowers it’s a wonderful way of relaxing, whilst getting creative.  All materials are included but places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment (please note children must be accompanied).



Rag Rug Workshop – Peg Loom
Friday, 22 September 10.30am-3.30pm
£40 per person (including all materials)

Join fabulous Rag Rug artist Stephanie Gaston for a one day workshop of creative fun. In this workshop you will be shown how to use a small peg loom to produce a piece of weaving using different textiles and wools. This is an ideal project to use up all those odd bits and pieces we all have that are too nice to get rid of. Stephanie will bring some samples of her work and books for inspiration. After basic instruction you will work on a piece that could be a wall hanging. All materials are provided and use of a peg loom on the day. Stephanie will have a list of suppliers should you wish to purchase your own tools after the workshop.

The workshop price includes all materials and light refreshments but please bring a packed lunch with you on the day. Places are limited so booking is essential. Why not book with a friend and save £5 each.
